I looked over the promation manuals for DVA and AFV and both say that pilots can fly aircraft from the other fleets, does that mean if the DVA pilot/AFV pilot has a specific stage rating, like if a DVA pilot has the DC-8, B747-400, and B777 rating, he can fly any AFV stage 4 aircraft? I'm looking at a two part ATL to NRT trip and the second leg is flown by a NW A330, but I only have the A320/19/18 rating, would I be able to report the second leg or would I need to get the A330 rating first?

??? i think i got it

You have to have the rating to fly that plane so if you have 777 747 you can not go and fly the md-11 because you have a stage 4 rating and the md-11 is also stage 4 you have to have the rating to be able to fly that plane and log it in your log book

Jared, with all the other ratings you have I think that you are already qualified for the A330 and probably just need the rating added to your profile. Try submitting a request to the help desk.
