I have a question you might already have been asked this bit it took a while looking threw the forum before i decided to post a new one
What are our restriction as far as transfers go, are required to be rated in the level under the aircraft to be rated or in that program

Second or promotions absolutely necessary are we able to stay at the Captain seat once we reach our goals to the position we wish to work up to

I have to be honest my goal is to get rated in the MD-11 and fly that and the CRJ-200 and stay with them after i have achieved them I don't really wish to be rated with any rank above Captain or first Officer

1. There are no restrictions. You can go for as many ratings / Promotions as you want.

2. They are not necessary. You can stay a CRJ CPT for as long as you are here in DVA. The choice is yours.

3. It is about what YOU like.

enjoy.

Well Like i said MY goal is to be rated in the MD-11 and the CRJ2.
I am not worried about any others unless I have to go threw to get to where I wish to be.
If I become eligable after the CRJ to the next aircraft i shall go for it if it will be required of me.

It's all explained in the Pilot Promotion manual located in the Document Library. The MD-11 is a stage 4 aircraft. If you want that rating, you will have to be rated in the lower stage aircraft first and work your way up to it.

Enjoy the ride, it's well worth it. Like Bill Cosby used to say, "If you're not careful, you might learn something"! biggrin

Thats what i was trying to clarify it I wanted to make sure I joined Deltava because another pilot informed me you guys where strick on your ratings and aircraft equipment.
Most Va's don't hold enough restriction to meat real world standerds the way it done in real life this is as close as i have seen so far.
By the way i got 15 out of 20 question right on my exam for CPT si I guess i have to work on it some more but I am good though

Thanks Eric Wade Jones
