Hey all,

For those of you that like to sim as realistic as possable....Last week at Comair we started parking all CRJ-700 aircraft at Concourse A along with the CRJ-900 aircraft that have already been parking there. The reason for this is to make crew swapping among aircraft easier on the crew, as the crews are interchangable on the CRJ-700 and 900's. Before a crew might have to transfer from concourse C to concours A to change ships for the next leg, but now all flights will be out of the same concourse. The only aircraft that will be parking at concourse C will be the CRJ-200's EMB-135/145's and any CRJ-700's that are operated by ASA. Just a tidbit I thought some of you might be interested in.

Thanks James, good to know.

It's good news for those of us who fly though CVG as well... Don't know how many times I've ridden that concourse C to B shuttle bus. smile Though it's always been pretty quick and efficient, any time saved on the ground is ok by me (especially since the CVG food court is pretty nice -- Chick fil A... mmmm!) biggrin

Oh yeah. The food court in concourse A is nice. I had a two hour layover in CVG one time and that is all I had to do. My first flight got in at 6:10PM (Concourse C) and my flight out left at 8:00PM (Concourse A). I couldn't go around and spot because it was dark.
