William Bunn has requested to leave the flight academy as a CFI this week. He has decided that he wants to spend more time doing somethings he has been putting off these past few years while teaching 4-5 days a week in the flight academy...He has a very interesting past, working for the FAA for many, many years, in the field fixing and repairing nav and radio equipment, back in the days before GPS, RNAV, etc. Stories of flying around the southeastern USA. Teaching at the FAA Academy..If you ever get the chance to talk with him, he has many a story of the older days of navigation and flying....So wish him the best, take him flying with you sometime on a "mini" group flight. Say Hi at the "Never Again Bar & Grill"..but most of all, congrats and Thank you William for all you have done to make the flight academy and Delta Virtual "still the best"

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU, for all that you did as a CFI in the Academy. When you were my instructor you had a positive effect on me and my life changing decision to pursue a career as an Airline Pilot. Now a year later, after I started the PPL Course, I will be on my way to San Diego to realize my dream of flying Big Birds. It was definitely a life changing experience having you in the cockpit with me.

I wish you all the best and nothing but success in your future en devours.

Your "favorite" ex-student,
Alex

Best wishes to you, William. It was a pleasure working with you as a fellow instructor at DVA Flight Academy. Thanks for all the hard work.
