Does anyone know how to fix this problem. KMDW is nothing but a flat piece of land on my FS....dunno why??? HOw would I get Midway scenery back up??? Thanks!!

ehhh...reinstall? Or look for some freeware Midway scenery to put in its place.

Not good to be dropping airfields though, have you messed with that one before? (afcad, freeware meshes, airport etc)

most airfields are on level ground. What's the issue? does it appear sunken or on a plateau?

insert Disc one and do a repair option install...see if that fixes your issue. If not - I would do a complete fresh install of FS and then a defrag just to be sure.

Maybe you have duplicate sceneries/AFCADS and/or don't have it/them listed in the correct order in the sceneries settings.

ah. sounds like you have a bum install of a addon scenery. if you use XP - and have the sys restore option - you may find that to work - but a fresh FS install always seems to fix even the most stubborn issues.

I had a similar problem recently. Lost all of my airports in southern Italy: no buildings and even the runways were gone.
It turned out that this problem was caused by an exclude file in a freeware add-on for Dubrovnik Airport in Croatia. I deleted Dubrovnik and my Italian airports appeared again. So Did you install any add-ons, even for airports far away from KMDW? Does KMDW come back if you switch them off?
