Is it possible to fly Online Events and not be rated in the aircraft you want to fly in (even if you've had dozens of hrs. in it offline) ?? For the June 6th Change of Command event, I actually want to change my aircraft to the B744 from AF, but wanted to pose this question before I actually changed my a/c selection.

BTW, I checked my FS logbook, and currently, I have 44 and 1/2 hours in the B744 (flying from the US to Gatwick or Heathrow)

Stuart,

You can fly it ,but, you will not be able to PiRep the flight unless you have a rating for the aircrarft. In this case, you will not be able to get a rating becase you are still in a "Stage 2" program.
