This is a photo of an APU generator found on the B727 aircraft that I saw on e-bay.

The APU runs at 100% RPM and is geared directly to the APU so no constant speed drive unit is required for 400Hz power. It will provide power to all three AC load busses for ground operations, and in turn the AC load busses can supply DC power through the transformer rectifiers (TR1, TR2, and Essential TR) for ground operations. It's load limit is 165 amps.
