Will there be a program over at AFV for the A380 and if so will DVA pilots be able to obtain ratings.

Generally, once the airline starts flying the a/c on revenue AFV/DVA will add the ratings and sometimes a program. It's my guess for an aircraft such as the A380, AFV will add an A380 program. Don't quote me on this as management has the final say-so; I'm just telling you what's been done in the past. wink

I hope that after Air France gets their A380 up and running that DVA can get ratings as well

Air Frances A380 is already operating in real life. I am going to send an email to the president over at AFV about this program.

Terry is President of DVA, Ryan Watkins is the President of AFV. Luke is the Vide-President of Technology for both VAs.

There are a lot of steps involved in bringing a new program online. Right now AF isn't operating the A380 for revenue passenger service. Once the aircraft is absorbed and we can see what the route structure looks like, we'll be able to assess our position and determine what to do at that time. Right now it's just too early to tell and any firm decision at this point would be premature.
