We have officially released the Third Edition of the L-1011 Aircraft Operations Manual. This edition conforms to the AOM standard that we have committed ourselves to when upgrading/releasing new aircraft manuals, and I would like to thank Don Baker, L-1011 Chief Pilot, on a great job getting this manual done! His hard work and attitude of "getting it right" will be evident when you read through the AOM.

Thanks also to Scott Clarke and Terry Eshenour for their hard work and assistance in seeing this manual through to its completion!

As for what is new, there is plenty - from the checklist to the cockpit checkout, fuel planning and charts in the back, if you fly the L-1011 or are interested in flying it, I think you will enjoy the newest AOM to our Document Library

Thanks to all! You guys really know how to run an airline. Don, thanks for being a resident expert on this airplane.

I think I am going to take the L1011 out for a spin tonight.

Bryan, are you blind? lol I don't know. Maybe we all are crazy and you are the sane one. I think it's a beautiful aircraft. I just read a manuel on how to program the INS. How fun would that be!
