Is there a way to have a bad flight removed from the Log Books? When I first started flying the 737 I had a crash on approach and did not realize I could just scrap the whole thing and not file the flight report. Now I'm stuck with a 19,000 FPM landing in my statistics. Stuck with it for life? or can it be removed somehow?

Submit a Help Desk request. I'm pretty sure they can help you out if you give them the date and flight number.

Cheers!!

You crashed... then filed it... think of it as either a reminder of what not to do, or just a punishment for crashing an airplane.

Thanks Ken for the suggestion. Dean, if I had crashed a real plane and killed 100's i would feel bad. But, I'm pretty sure real planes don't have stupid virus protection programs that pop up in the middle of a flight causing an unnoticed overspeed and crash from altitude. Now I can turn off crash detection, but how realistic would that be.

I just got a new MD-80. (Coolsky) It takes me about a half hour to go thru the initial inspections and pre-flights. During one of my first push backs, an airport vehicle wheeled around the corner and collided with it. mad Moral of the story: crash detection off!

Well at least in RW they can't say they didn't see it!
