On April 16, 2004 terrist struck once again in America's skys. An incedent Delta flight 6490 was en route from Dallas Ft. Worth to Oklahoma City had a bomb explode in it's cabin. The pilot begins emergency procedures and begins decent to KADM Ardmore, Oklahoma which is the closest 7,000ft rwy. There were 176 passengers on board 90 died due to the bomb and turbulence after the bomb b/c's they weren't buckled in. The rest will leave. The pilot says that after that the engines were in the red to whole way down. The flight system reported him being 90,000ft up and going faster than 500kias when he was cruising at 24,000ft. He also rembers hearing on the radio the altimeter readings being 29475 and pilots calling in at FL-26893. He shut off an engine to control the speed better until on final where F/O Matt Sisson restarted it for better controll. b/c's of the major speed prob. when they were over the runway the engines were cut to slow them down. It would've been perfect except the landing gear wasn't extended b/c's the pilots forgot. No one else was hurt due to the landing. F/O Matt Sisson and Captain are in the hospital being treated for derpression.

I was cruising to OKC in the 757 at FL240 and then everything screwed up it showed me at FL900 and planes were calling in at FL-260 and everything was very very jerkey. My engines were red the whole time. and yes the altimeter call ins were 29475. It would've been the PERFECT emergency landing except I forgot the gears grrr... o, well that's got to be the weirdest FS experience of my life wow!

I was on a flight from the DFW to OKC. About the time I hit cruising something happened to my FS. My altitude indicator showed me 90,000ft. and my speed indicator was showing me at 500+ kias. Also I couldn't slow my engines down they were in the red the whole time. It was wierd. Then I called to cancel my IFR so that I can make an emergency landing at KADM and I called up and said I was at FL-260! and everyother AI plane was calling up at -FL's it was very wierd. The whole way down was very very very jerky. And I wouldn've made a suprisingly succesful landing if I didn't forget the gears grr. but I don't know what cause FS to mess up like that. I've never seen it before. very strange very very strange
