The web site will get a little slow tonight starting at midnight Eastern US Time. I will be pushing out a new set of Fleet Intallers to the mirrors, and that's going to be around 420MB of content. That's about as much as I push out every day, so it'll be a bit slow between 12 and 6am. To give you an overview, the following changes are going to be made to the installers:

1. Minor technical wording, license changes, as well as better LZMA compression. This means around 300K less on a 14MB installer. Not a lot of difference, unless you are on dial-up.
2. New MD-88 using SGA's MD-83/87/88 model in OC, NC, NNC, Aeromexico and Alitalia colors.
3. Working ATR-72 panel in FS2004, as well as new Air France and Alitalia ATR-72 liveries.
4. Czeskoslovenske Aerolinke DC-3, along with improve fuel management, mixture gauge and SMOKING engine starts. (I love to smoke).
5. FFX/SGA DC-10 Series 10/30 in Delta OC, NNC, Air France and Alitalia liveries.
6. Updated FSFrance FS2002/2004 Concrode with a real flight model that can hit Mach 2.07+ instead of 1.92 like the old one.
7. Delta 1971 "White Nose" Boeing 727-200 livery.
8. Updated Airbus A330 panel that doesn't blow up in the year 2004.
9. Czech Air Lines, Air Jamaica and South African Airbus A320 liveries.
10. South African Airways A330-200
11. Working Boeing 747SP analog panel.
12. Delta 1963 "White Wings" Convair CV-880 livery.

Every installer has been rebuilt. Hopefully you'll have a more enjoyable flight sim experience as a result.

Cheers!

Luke

Good grief, and you found time to actually FLY tonight?!?

Wow, that's great. I'll be installing a bunch of those guys tomorrow while I'm waiting for the ice outside to melt! (1/16" of ice + South Carolina = the world is ending and I don't have to go to work until 10:00 tomorrow.)

We can just re-download the installer files and install over top of what we already have without breaking anything, can we? Or do we have to delete old files first?

If you attempt to install over an existing Fleet Installer aircraft, the results are "undefined". Which means I don't know what will happen. In theory, nothing bad, but don't quote me. Much of what I am about to release was all queued up anyways, just needed a dedicated weekend of attack.

Cheers!

My plane's paint job is terrible on the crj200 and The virtual cockpit is blacked out. Is there something wrong with the file? It is no big deal because I can see the panel ok, but I would like to have a nice looking plane.

Which scheme are you using, and which version of FS do you have?

Cheers!
