In 1946, Delta Air Lines added eight DC-4s to its fleet, their first four-engined aircraft. Their DC-4 routes extended from Chicago to Miami and Fort Worth, Texas to Columbia, S.C. with leg lengths of 27 to 530 NM.

I sent an e-mail to Robert Tally who is the CP of the DC-6 program a few days ago asking about this. He is looking into it and going to get back to me when he gets time.

I used the e-mail listed on the staff page. I also told him in my e-mail about where to find the DC-4 model and Delta livery. I think Robert has been away from home and very busy. I'm sure he will look into this when he gets time to run it by the senior staff.
