I use WOAI and I was wondering what scenery people were using for KMEM for 2004. I have the blueprint KMEM but I cant get it busy with all the AI i have even after installing the fix.

I, too, have Blueprint MEM and WOAI and noticed that it is pretty much a ghost town. My theory was that what you're seeing is the result of the merger and the de-hubbing of places like MEM and CVG; i.e. in the RW there aren't as many flights to/from these former hubs anymore. Where they used to be busy, now they're not so much anymore. Sad, but I guess it's airline economics in action.

On an unrelated topic: Quincy, nine years and no DVA flights logged?!?!?!? Go get out there and fly those DL colors, man! biggrin

Memphis should be busting at the seams with FedEx traffic during certain hours.

Yea smile I joined back in 2001 never did a flight then joined simairline and did about 500 hrs between 2004 - this year. I saw this nice VA and joined and found out my login name was still saved. Well I guess I'm back. Im a real world pilot. I like to keep things realistic and just finished reviewing the crj procedures. I should do my first flight this weekend.

Memphis is frantic with Fed Ex traffic at certain times. I have lived here for 30 years and it still amazes me to listen to and watch the Fed Ex flights.

I just realized I dont have a FEDEX package. Anyone know where I can get one. I figure eventually WOAI would make a FEDEX package since the feeder routes just came out.

Tyler - SKAI is an illegal AI package. Please do not be recommending it on our forum. Yes it contains other packages but in reality it is a compilation of existing AI packages that were bundled into an installer without the permissions of the original creators...

Project AI has a FedEx package and WOAI has a lot of FedEx feeder packages. The thing with MEM and DL/NW is, it's only busy 3 times a day. Morning rush, afternoon, and the evening push. In between hours the terminal is a ghost town. For AM, probably between 630-830, afternoon 11a-2p, and evening around 5-7p.

It could be that the radius size for the aircraft in Blueprint's afcad is too small. In that case, ai aircraft will be unable to use the gate area and thus will not spawn.

I live just south of the KMEM airport (Southaven, MS) probably 5 miles away from the end of the runway and have lived in the area since I was 10 years old (I'm 42 now)--if you don't get used to the traffic it will keep you awake the rest of the night once the 2:30AM flights begin. Then the process starts all over again in the mid afternoon as the FedEx planes begin the afternoon runs. The whole time, Delta has one flight after another mixed in between.

My parents home (my childhood home) is even closer than my current one; it's directly under the 18L takeoff path and barely off the 18C path. Their house is "the" closest house to the airport now that the airport demolished all those closer due to the noise problems. When we moved there in 1978, FedEx barely flew any aircraft and what they did fly were Falcons--small and relatively quiet. Now it's quite impressive to watch as they come by one after another.
