I can never get the fleet CRJ-200 off the ground before 170-180 knots and my take of rolls are at least 7000 feet. Why is that? My gross is only 45000 lb. and I'm using flaps at 20. I should be getting off the ground a lot sooner (and slower) than that. Is there a problem with fleet-installed aircraft? Thanks!

As others have said, positive trim units. Pay very close attention to trim units. While flaps are important in a jet to takeoff (In most types) trim will make or break the takeoff. Interesting tid bid. The classic series 737, the A300 and the 767-200 are all capible of making a no flaps takeoff. (Slats only)
