I think at some point before the end of the year I'll need to create an artificial DVA10001 and see what breaks. I don't think much will (when I rebuilt the site in 2005 I didn't make any limits at 10000) but there might be an input field somewhere artificially limited to 7 characters for the pilot ID.

What about a mix of letters and numbers like from DVA9999 we go to DVA001A or DVAA001

thats a milestone for sure. been here since 2002 myself, and saw a lot of things happen here! speaking of active pilots, I just came back from a "break" from online flying. its good to be back and see that we are still going strong! heres to another 8 years!
