So, I'm curious to know, if a flight assignment system can be implemented, with the option of it being, well, optional? I know there are a few other pilot's out there like me who have an extremely difficult time choosing where to fly, and what to fly. Is this a possibility, with, I'll stress it again, it being optional?

Take a look at this thread I started back in 2008. As a whole people dont want anything to do with any kind of bidding system, but it was stated in there that flight assignments for personal use might be able to be implemented. At least you have something to go off of.

To be honest, I think it would be kind of cool if you could say I want to fly the 757-200 from ATL with Delta airlines and have the system spit out 2-10 flights that link itself from ATL.

I would just like not having to pick my destinations. Flying from my last destination is no problem, but I always have a tough time choosing were to go and what to fly. If it were optional, it would just assign me a destination, and an aircraft within my range. This way I would also get a good rotation of aircraft instead of flying just what I love to fly.

Antonio .... you can do that with the current system. Just make the starting airport your last airport you were at, set sort flight by "Random", and then check mark "My Equipment Types" .... there you go. After that just pick one.

You can even narrow it more than that and just put 1 in the system and it will just give you one option.
