Hello all. I'm looking for information regarding different KIAS and altitudes for the B757. I want this information so I can practice calculating KTAS and flight time manually insted of all the fancy products out there. I can't seem to find this info for the B757 anywhere. Would appreciate some help. Thanks.

How about our own document library? We've got pretty good manuals in there. I believe the fleet installer also has some 757 manuals in it as well that are not in the library as stand alone manuals. For various non 757 specific information, you might also try the flight encyclopedia.

lol....I have one. But you still need KTAS to solve flight time etc and to get KTAS you need the KIAS for the altitude which you'll be flying at; which you would have to refer to the operating manual.

I haven't thought about my old E6B in a long time but I am going to have to dig it out and play with it now. It is an old aluminum-type big one that has been in a box somewhere in a closet for a couple of decades at least. I have a smaller plastic one too but it is not near as much fun as that big one.

If you want to calculate your flight time accurate, you need to use NM/GSx60= time in minutes,or skip x60 for hours.
As Andy says,use the E6B, KIAS to TAS conversion and calculate your wind component and GS,there's an electronic whiz wheel here: http://www.pilotfriend.com/calcs/calculators/whizz.htm
If you have the CS 757 there are tables there. If not,I think you can get the CS manual here: http://www.captainsim.com/products/x757/manuals.html
Manual IV page 16 have what you are looking for.
