I'm pleased to announce that as of Build 327, Delta Virtual Airlines has our own Facebook application and page, allowing you to track the latest information about our virtual airline as it happens. Additionally, all of your ACARS flights can be automatically logged on your Facebook feed - and if you change e-mail addresses, you can skip the address validation phase if your address here matches your address with Facebook.

There's a link near the top of the Pilot Center to authenticate with Facebook, giving us access to publish to your feed.

Yes. I'm going to let things shake out for a few days and then create the necessary stuff on the FB side for AFV. The code is already there for AFV, it just needs the app ID and the cryptography data that Facebook gives me when I create the app.

Truthfully, I like it as Oshever, because it's like another identity, and it's on my sig. If you think that it should be changed because of future problems, then it's fine with me.

I have had some problems with this and while it says it is "interfacing with facebook", it is not showing up on my facebook. Interesting I will get pireps from time to time from other pilots here but not my own . . . as well as I get announcements of promotions, milestones etc for other pilots here. Just curious if this is how it is suppose to work here? Anyway, don't see anything for my own activitiy on facebook

Thanks Luke, glad you are looking into this. I seem to get accomplishment announcements for various pilots, i.e, On line double century, 50 state club, etc and I will get an occasional flight "PIREP" for say . . Horatio . .. which I thought was strange but I have no idea how you set it up to interface, but it sounds great . . .
