Does there exist a list somewhere that shows all the 3 letter codes for aircraft?
Most are obvious but what is a D95? I'm guessing some MD-80 series ??

Try that. I got that link off atcmonitor.com and it seems to have what you need. The section you want is Chapter 5, at the bottom of the table of contents; there are separate sections for taking a code and finding the manufacturer/type, and taking the manufacturer/type and finding the code.
