Can 737 pilots fly in the MD aricraft series? Also I know there are aircraft listed is there any other aircraft that a 737 first officer can fly?

All pilots hired into the 737 program should be rated to fly all stage 1 aircraft, the 732, 733, 734, 735, 738, and 739, as well as the Airbus A320 series (318, 319, 320, 321). As a 737 first officer you can attain MD-88 ratings by passing the appropriate test.

SO all I have to do is pass the written examination in order to get the rating to fly the aircraft? So if I pass the 757 written test I can fly that aircraft plust the MD88? So for the ratings I do not need to submit a flight video?

The Mad Dogs are a separate rating within Stage Two. You get the ability to fly those by passing the MD-88 First Officer test. As for the 757, yes, if you pass the 757 F/O test, you get the rating to fly the 757/767 even though those are Stage Three aircraft. In order to move up to the 757 program, then you'd have to submit a flight video or pass an online checkride.

Check out the Promotions Manual in the Document Library for more info.

Do I do the flight in the 737 or the 757 for the check ride to get the 757 rating?
