Guys, I have been struggling with my FSX crashing. The NGX is the most susceptible to crashes, but other aircraft suffer this as well. Generally, while loading, when I select an aircraft, or even at a random interval. FSX will crash. When I look at the crash in event viewer, the culprit is always either Dsound.dll, or msvcr80.dll. From what I have learned, Dsound.dll is from Direct X, however the directx diagnostics tool finds no issues. if I am not mistaken, msvcr80 is from Visual Runtimes, which I am planning to try reinstalling, but I don't want to mess anything up. Can you guys help me with these errors? Do any of you have experience with them?
