Can't seem to connect vpilot to FSX. Can anybody help?

If you're using FSX SE, make sure you run the small patch so your OS knows where to look. Its in the fleet library.

I can start vpilot before FSX SE but it just holds still until I get FSX SE running.

Its called "Installer Registry Fixer" in the Fleet Library. You may also need to run vpilot as administrator.

it says:
Attempting Simulator connection, and then it says Connection failed. Over and over again. The connection button does not work either.

Might be a Simconnect issue. do you have the FSX boxed or Steam?

To solve the simconnect issue, I recommend REINSTALLING FSX sadly. If that doesn't work, let me know and ill find other options, It happened to me ONCE, and when I reinstalled, I got it back. I should be in your main directory if it works.

Try Installing FSX SP1 and SP2 first. It could save you a lot of trouble. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling FSUPIC.

No, FSX SP2

If you have the FSX Gold or FSX Acceleration, then you already have it, but if you are to just own the original box of the FSX, then you need to go here: https://www.microsoft.com/Products/Games/FSInsider/downloads/Pages/FlightSimulatorXServicePack2.aspx and download the FSX SP2

I do not think the Deluxe has the SP2, so I'd go ahead and install that SP2 and hope it works.

Deluxe doesn't have SP2. I'd install SP1, then SP2. The FSUIPC4.LOG should also say what version of FSX you're using, as will ACARS.
