I have installed FSX on the D partition of the comp. I have tried all possible searches on the C and D drives to find this file in order to modify ity for ACARS. I get as far as the FSX file but that does not contain a PDMG file, neither on C or D drive. I have the regular FSX programme. Can anyone help? Thanks

At the main FSX folder, look for PMDG. Do not go into the SimObjects. Once you open the PMDG folder, navigate yourself to PMDG 737 NGX folder, then open up a file called 737NGX_Options that has a logo of a text with a gear looking thing at the left side of the logo

Thanks for your quick responses; most appreciated. However, I cannot find a PMDG file. On the C partition I go to program files (X86). then I go to Microsoft games. This contains two files: FSX (45 MB) and FSX sdk. (70 MB). The fsx file only shoiws a file called fonts. This file does not contain a PMDG folder. The fsx sdk file, wehen opened, shows one file called sdk. This file also onlu show a file called fonts. Also this file does not contain a PMDG folder. My D partition on the hard disk, where FSX is placed has a lot of folders and data but no PMDG folder.
The PMDG flder simply cannot be found anywhere? It is a mystery to me!

If that is the case.. then reinstall the 737 and make note of where it is being installed to, so you know where all the files are going.

Otto, unless you can find your real FSX folder, you're not going to be able to find the files. Out of curiosity, why are you modifying them manually? The ACARS installers should do so, assuming the registry is correct.

Hi Luke,
that is great, I was not aware of that. I read in the manuaol that I have to change the file manually so therefor I tried to find it. But if you say that it will happen automatically that is great. In that case I will just do my first test flight and see how it goes and if all is registered oke.
