Hey all,
I'm putting in a warning to Norton today that they need to clean up their act how they itentify threat files on my computer - it keeps deleting essential exe files from my Flight Simulator Setup and is now causing it to crash or make aircraft unusable (for example, SimConnect for Active Sky Next, or Aerosoft's Airbus - because we all know that THOSE providers are untrustworthy).
Anyway, does anybody know a good anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall program that does not suck - maybe one a little bit more Flight Simulator friendly?
Just looking for some insight form the community here.

I have had Webroot on my sim computer for nearly four years now with absolutely no issues whatsoever. It's not very demanding resource wise, either.

Bitdefender has great reviews and has kept my PC clean but I have to make the settings extremely passive to keep it from messing with P3D. It also seems to slow down my web browsing a bit.

I use F-Secure. I Get minor nagging and it counts some utilities for Ready For Pushback as virus but I have excluded my whole fs utilities folder from scanning. MS Security Essentials managed to deep freeze some of my PC-s and i'm cautious on every "Patch Tuesday"
