When starting up FSX:SE
On selection of my newly acquired DVA installation of EMB-120 in FSX:SE free flight mode two messages pop up: "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?" The options are Run and Don't run. After selecting "Yes" the next message pops up: "Would you like to designate this module.(path to Steam)... as 'Trusted' software? Select Yes to automatically load this software whenever you start Flight Simulator. Select No top load this software for this session only.
Whatever combination of choices is selected these messages keep on re-appearing. When finally I try to get rid of them by clicking "X" this process finally stops and after a few seconds the EMB-120 appears on the FSX start-up screen.
Is this a issue caused by the DVA aircraft or should I take this issue up with the Steam people (Dovetail)?

Sorry, I gave an incorrect title to the previous message - there will b a separate ticket raised for the instrument panel problem.

It is normal. FSX is seeing other gauge files that it has yet to seen, it's just asking whether you trust it or not. Just press yes on all of them. When you move up to the 757, and when you first use the DVA 757, then you will do a nice 2~3 min workout clicking yes on those security questions smile

You also may have a permissions issue in that FSX can't write an update to the FSX data files to keep your choices and therefore asks you for each flight. I have to run FSX as an administrator to get past this problem. I also had to run the Compatibility module within WIN10 to set up FSX to run correctly. Soonho is correct in that the first time you fly the B 757, you will have to answer "YES" to at least 100 of these new gauges. Have fun!
