Unfortunately I was unable to file this thread under the EMB-120 heading. That selection is not listed - should/could it be please?
I found that my newly acquired DVA installed EMB-120's instrument panel is unstable. On most occasions so far, some of the instruments remain blank. First time both Airspeed, Altimeter and Vertical speed indicators remained black. Next time the vertical speed remained black. Next time Airspeed, Altimeter and Vertical and a number of engine gauges remained black. Also none of the radio switches e.g. NAV 1 are inactive making it impossible to tune radio to VORs and use for ILS. Looking forward for your usual excellent solutions.

Cheers!

The exterior and liveries may seem alike, but the eaglesoft EMB120 has the fsx original King Air 350 cockpit.

I did a modification on mine, I`ve added the original EMB120 panel on it.

If you plan to take the flight academy courses, you need to use the DVA EMB 120. We did use part of Eric airplane, but the DVA Flight Academy EMB 120 was built by two DVA members....contact Jim Warner@deltava.org.....he is the EMB 120 chief pilot and flight academy instructor.

I have seen this problem with a couple of DVA aircraft and have suggested that my problems were started when I had changed the default aircraft in FSX to another plane. I then changed the default aircraft back to the ultralight and then restarted FSX and all worked correctly. This also seemed to be a problem with FS2004 if you changed the default startup aircraft then there was conflicts with some PMDG and other payware aircraft. I also make sure to have the EMB-120 pitot heat turned on for every flight so I don't have airspeed/altimeter/VSI problems. Hope this helps.

Thanks to all for your advice. I have downloaded the DVA model and everything's settled down and working fine . This baby needs a lot more "flying " than the old CLR! It must be a hassle free aircraft because there's no heading for it in the Watercooler index.

HA ha Theo. Perhaps we do need an E120 channel. If you can get the E120 chief pilot to request it, I can see that it happens.
