Hello all,

I've tried several times to import the PFPX airline database to no avail. I've also tried to import Philip Hope's Fuel Plan policies and Flight Plan template as well, but cannot seem to find the folders where this data would be located. Any help is much appreciated. It's been years since I've knocked out a leg with DVA and I'm looking forward to getting back into the game, pun intended.

Thread Bump....I've tried converting the .xml file to a .txt file, and nothing happens. I have gone to the route database manager, found the pfpxsched.xml file, clicked apply and nothing changes, the import window closes and I am left with the routes that I have created. I am truly at a loss here. Any ideas, anyone?

I was able to import the schedule file without any problems. I'll have to retrace my steps, but I don't think I did anything special thereto. I will follow up with this thread shortly.

FYI ... the schedule is bittersweet. It's super nice to be able to just type in a DVA flight #, make a few tweaks, and push out the package... but you should be warned that the file is quite large and slows down PFPX dramatically in any operations that involve the schedule (ie: when you save your flight and try to release it). It's not really DVA's fault... it seems like the makers of PFPX didn't do a good job with how PFPX consumes large amounts of data. BUT, I just thought I'd put it out there. It IS a very nice job, but it has a side-effect.

Here's the steps.

1. Open PFPX, select Schedule tab if it's not already selected

2. Click the down arrow under the Add button and select Import

3. Select the pfpxsched.xml file

Good luck!
