So, as many of you may know, the Saitek products were on massive back order for some time now.

I just came across some news that the Logitech gaming division bought saitek back in september for 13 million. I guess this means that the products might finally be coming out of back order.

I noticed on amazon, that the saitek throttle quadrant usually named PZ45, is now being called "Logitech G Saitek Throttle Quadrant". The old PZ named model has the 4/5 stars etc etc, whereas the Logitech G one, does not, and has an indication of being released this month.

So I would call that good news, and im sure many of us are Saitek customers, some not. I can finally buy a second quadrant and get a PA31 setup rolling.

Cheers guys!

Chris

Saitek had great products. They just didn't make them. I bought one of their last yokes. I'm glad they were bought by Logitech because I need rudder pedals, and Logitech actually makes stuff. Lol smile

Interesting. I need to warranty my rudder pedals. Hopefully Logitech will honor my situation. I called several months ago and was told they didn't have any replacement pedals in stock and to try in a few months.

Good to know! I've noticed on Amazon how much Saitek products were going for and was wondering why...now it makes sense

Logitech is also now covering the warranty for MadCatz products. I have a Fly5 joystick that failed. I had purchased the extra 2 year warranty but to this point I'm not getting any help from Logitech.

I just went through this process with them about a month or so ago. Indeed, it was very frustrating; however, it did work. I was actually in the middle of an RMA process when the change-over happened. I had opened a ticked with MadCatz and they decided to go forward with the RMA process, but advised me that they didn't have any replacements in and I'd have to wait a few months. When I checked back a few months later, Logitech had taken over. As I mentioned, the interaction was frustrating; however, after providing them (Logitech) with my ticket information with MadCatz, Logitech honored my warranty and sent me a replacement at no cost.

Scott: I did have that experience too -- slow to respond. And I hated the fact that I basically had to create an online forum thread to get support -- slightly unconventional. At one point, I got fed up waiting for a reply, and I called Logitech's main support phone number and fought with the stupid phone system until I was able to get someone on the phone. I explained to them that I was attempting to get support for a Saitek product and, although they could not assist me during the phone call, they were able to ping the folks that handle the Saitek stuff and I got an email reply shortly after from a new person. So, you might consider doing this... it helped me, at least.
