Got my new system up and running. I go to do my first flight for dva and acars crshes fsx steam. If i dont run acars,system flys for hrs. Any idea's. Running core i5 6600k gtx1070 16 g ram

Maybe an issue with FSUIPC.

I purchased FSUIPC. Everything worksfine but crashes when acars is running. It also crashes of i try to go from full screen to windowed mode. This is steam addition. Never had these problems in old slow pc?

I always run in windowed mode now as full screen always caused issues if you had to switch windows.

Can i ask how do i start in windowed mode? Flights always start full screen and if i try to switch it crashes to desktop. Thank you so much for your help and insight!

Once you load a flight, press Alt+Enter. That should put you in windowed mode. Close FSX and then start it again. It should be in windowed mode by default from now on.

Thank you so much for your help. My problem is when i press Alt+Enter it crashes to the desktop. So annoying.I cant exit the sim to start acars. I normally do alt+enter and minus fsx i then start acars and minus that then go back to fsx and fly. But the alt+enter crash is keeping from doing flights!
