Hello all.

Last night Mr Rose tried to help me convert my flight plan to show up correctly in the live ACARS map but, for we couldn't get it to work so, I'm wondering if anyone can show me what I need to convert 4800N/14000W 4800N/15000W 4800N/16000W 4900N/17000W 5100N/18000W into so it will show correctly.

Thanks in advance.

Mark.

I've never used Live ACARS but shouldn't it look something like this?

4814N 4815N 4816N 4917N 5118N

This unfortunately is not correct. Those coordinates are in the Atlantic.

You are correct in part sir. The route I gave you was correct! It plotted correctly in the Route Plotter and in Simbrief. My guess is a you have a typo, much like the 49N90 you typed in the first time.

Here are the coordinates 48N40 48N50 48N60 49N70 51N80 <these are slightly different than last nights but correct for your route above.

This will also work: 48N140W 48N150W 48N160W 49N170W 51N180W

Here is the link I shared with you last night to help you with plotting.

I hope you have more success on your end this time.

Hi, Jim and thanks again for the support.

In the end I flew with the original plan anyway and although not visibly correct in live ACARS map due to POSREP's it actually looks fine when you look at the flight route map post flight.

I used to know how to change the raw data years ago as FSB wouldn't accept it which it now does.

Let's see how I get on coming back on Wednesday!

Thanks again.

Mark.

P.S: Sorry, Jim I meant to ask did you check that route in live ACARS to see if it showed the route correctly?

As I'm totally out of ideas, what should this be to show correctly in ACARS? 5200N/05000W 5400N/04000W 5600N/03000W 5700N/02000W

I'm losing the will to live over this lol.

Mark.

Two ways: 52N050W 54N040W 56N030W 57N020W
5250N 5440N 5630N 5720N

Both will work!

Thanks, Jim.

I'll hopefully be OK for future now seeing how you convert going east and west.

Cheers.
