Hi, All Software Geeks & Wizards,

Finally and a bit late I assume, I've reached the decision that its about time to step forward and raise the bar toward WIN10. Have upgraded my system from
the well-respected Windows 7 Ultimate 64 I have been using the last 6-7 years, to the current and updated WIN10 version.

After the extended upgrade process and activation, started to test my installed sims, and very fast realized there is a problem with the FSinn program, that
WIN10 is rejecting one of its OCX files, restricting it from being re-installed.

My question: is there a solution to it or otherwise? checked GOOGLE but seems all suggestions look to me like "fictitious & harmful offers" which I dare to
even consider inserting into my Registry....

FYI, I have no problem flying online my XP10 & 11 utilizing the XSqauwkbox plugin, functioning flawlessly. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thank You.

Hi Aaron. Unfortunately, I stopped using FSInn a few years back, so I'm not really knowledgeable about it anymore. But, if you're not dead-set on FSInn, I'd like to point you in the direction of vPilot (http://vpilot.metacraft.com/). vPilot seems to be the new SquawkBox for VATSIM. I've been using it on FSX for the last few years. What I like about it is that it "just works," whereas I felt like I was constantly needing to fiddle around with the programs I used previous. I'd consider it fairly lightweight: you may find that it might not support some features you've grown accustomed to. For me, though, I honestly can't recall a moment where I felt disadvantaged on vPilot (as compared to what I remember about the alternatives I've used).

Hi,
Allow me to thank you for your informative comments and suggestions which will be seriously noted and considered. I enjoyed FSinn through the years for its operational benefits, but since I moved to WIN10 have noticed - like many other - that
FSinn has been timed out....More-over, now that most of my flights are with XP10 & 11 utilizing XSquawkbox.....BTW, I still have FSX installed but I hardly run it....
Best Regards and happy flying.
