Did Air France get that route too? RW DAL hopefully will get the ORD-CDG run back in the winter when Air France reduces service to one flight a day. Delta has a lot of 'one-off' Atlantic routes from non-hub cities (IND/CVG/RDU(?)/PHL) etc. It looks like at times DAL will just fly open routes not currently taken up by other carriers. Remember that Int'l flights are still regulated.
