Recently Firefox updated and I tried accessing DVA through it. Upon logging in it would say that the JavaScript execution is disabled. Java is up-to-date so there shouldn't be an issue there. I looked in my browser settings and I cannot find where to enable JavaScript. It doesn't even appear in my plugins section located in the "Add-ons" tab in the browser menu. Firefox is my preferred browser and I was wondering if there is a way that I can still access DVA through Firefox. I used chrome to type this thread.

When it rains, it pours! I just went through the same problem and had to revert to an older version of Firefox to get it to work. That is not going to be a good long term option, however, as no security updates will be applied.

Yep...had the same issues with Firefox update, running Windows 10...Firefox says it will no longer support Javascript, so I tried their suggestion of No Script 5.1......only issue is that need to have a GOOD malaware/anti virus as I have noticed that I am getting a lot more adware blocked now that I have to ALLOW the websites to load....... eek

Maybe it is safer to stick with chrome to use DVA for now..

I was having this same issue, but I am writing this currently on Windows 10 and the most current build of Firefox. This the first time in days that the site has worked on Firefox for me.

The issue seems to be intermittent. I guess I am going to have to use Chrome for the time being.

Curious: what version of Firefox are you using? I quite recently made the switch from Chrome to Firefox, and I've really been liking it. I haven't noticed any issues with JS. Has the alleged drop in JS support been confirmed anywhere? With JS being such an integral part of most websites on the internet, this is a fairly shocking development. I also operate a website that relies very heavily on JS, so this thread caught my attention in more ways than one.

For the record, I'm using Firefox 56.0 (64-bit), and the browser claims that it's up to date. JS is working fine for me, both on DVA and other websites. At least, for now?

Clear the cache and try again. If it works now, it's certainly a firefox bug.
