Hey guys,

I bought a new PC today with windows 10 and I downloaded the installer for acars, it does its thing everything looks good and it says I has completed, but it dosent create a shortcut launch on the desktop and and when I click on the acars exe in the folder it want to install again? so when I install an msg pops up cannot find C:\user\justin\appdata\local\x-plane_install_10.txt I don't even own x-plane...... so I hit okay I then click on fs9 cause it was detected and I hit next.. then I go through the next screen to where I have to select what to install I click acars and modules then click next. it begins the install process and skips tons of things at first then says error shortcut not created and its says completed. I'm not sure what to do

Several things. You need to make sure you are allowing the program through anti-virus and your firewall. Win 10 has so much security its probably flagging it as spyware. Make sure you also install as administrator. Give that a shot.

thank you Andrew for the helpful tip, so reinstalled again with instructions above I got the same issue, However I found a thread in here saying it actually installed but you have to go to the C:Program Files(86), Delta Virtual, ACARS v3, then click on DVAACARS create a shortcut and run program, and it worked very weird but I'm up and flying again..
