Does DVA have historical Southern Airways flights? If not there could be some different route additions that are currently not on the schedule.

Howdy Brad.

"Route of the Aristocrats."

One DC-9-14 aircraft operated a "milk run" multi-stop routing from Miami to Orlando, Tallahassee, Panama City, Eglin AFB, Mobile, Gulfport, New Orleans, Birmingham, Atlanta, Huntsville, Memphis and St Louis with this flight then terminating at Chicago Midway. Total time en route was 14 hours and 32 minutes.

Looks like we'd need to add Panama City -to- Eglin AFB (KVPS) -to- Mobile to complete this milk run.

Looks like we'd need to add also:
Columbus, Georgia -to- Washington, DC ..
Birmingham, Alabama -to- Columbus, Mississippi and -to- Laurel/Hattiesburg, Mississippi..
Muscle Shoals/Florence Alabama -to- Memphis..
Monroe, Louisiana -to- Baton Rouge..
Greenville/Spartanburg -to- Charleston, South Carolina..
Valdosta, Georgia -to- Dothan, Alabama -to- Columbus, Georgia.

I'll put together some flight legs and submit them to Andrew Vane for consideration to be added tot he DVA flight schedules.. smile

When I was in my early 20's I was a CFI in Nashville and later Memphis. The Southern DC-9s had the smiley faces painted on the nose and I always wanted to fly the milk runs in them. Southern was my favorite and truly felt like my home town airline.

Hi Andrew. Not sure if I'm looking right at it, but I don't see any Republic Airways listed in ACARS. Any chance of adding those as well?
