Just a reminder that if you click "start flight" and then load fuel, ACARS will throw a flag for in-flight refueling. Try to load your fuel first before clicking start flight. Every flight report with this flag takes extra time to evaluate. Thanks!

I have always done this but will still get an odd "0 fuel onboard' message when I start the flight. For the record, I will never take the time to set up an aircraft with zero fuel. I think that for me at least, I am sending a bad data packet or it is getting corrupted or timing out somewhere along the way.

I had it happen precisely once. I can’t remember if it was with Aerosoft Airbuses or CRJ X. For both of those I use the Aerosoft software to load the aircraft rather than ACARS as ACARS doesn’t seem to like loading them accurately. I know I clicked start flight after the plane was loaded but had the flag on my report when I filed it. It’s only happened once in 115 flights so it could just be some random glitch or connection hiccup.
