I've been doing a major overhaul on my computer, and re-installing the entire fleet with the most recent and updated install packs. Unfortunately not a single install so far has managed to download the sound files or manuals (if one is available), the installers keep reporting that the servers are not sending file size data when it comes time to install sound packs or manuals, and therefore rejects that portion of the individual installation. Any ideas?? Anybody else experiencing the same or similar problem?? I will be sending up a Help-Desk request after posting this thread, I just wanted to get it out into the fleet and see what you all make of it??

Is your anti virus blocking the download somehow? Weird it won’t download the sound files or manuals. Definitely submit a help desk issue tracker and we will go from there.

I also had an issue with the fleet installers. They would start installing, but when it came time to download files (sound, panels, gauges, etc) an error would pop up. For the time being I am unable to install new DVA fleet aircraft onto my computer.

I had this issue recently (mid October) when trying to install the Concorde. I still don't have the panel for it (because it's a downloaded item not included in the installer) so it's not flyable.

I've been having this issue since late September. Today did a complete reinstall of FSX and when running the fleet installers it downloads the sound package but the maunals throw an error.

It's all related to the fact that the installers cannot do HTTPS properly. The "newer" installers such as ACARS can, but I am very reluctant to rebuild the old installers for fear of introducing bugs.
Let me know if the manuals are working now.
