I recently tried had to reinstall the DVACARS. When I try to start it, nothing happens. I click on the icon, nothing, I run as admin, NOTHING. So I uninstalled it and it took X-Plane, FSX, and a few other games and file with it. I feel like I might have to completely reinstall Windows 10 to get the basic stuff back. Any ideas before i throw in the towel????

Casey sorry for your issues. You shoudl make sure you allow ACARS through your firewall and your anti-virus. Make sure also Win 10 is updated. It sounds like the A/v is blocking the .exe program. I don't think its a Win 10 thing or at least it shouldn't be.

I tried, apparently when I uninstalled dvacars it was attached to pretty much everything in my cpu. So now I can’t even get to my control panel, for example.i tried resetting my windows and I get the message “something went wrong and windows could not be reset. Still lost, I think I might have to reinstall windows 10. Keep the ideas coming!! :band head:

ACARS doesn't "attach" to anything, unless you installed it in C:\Windows (I'm not sure if that's even allowed). My guess is that you have a new install or system restore in your future.

I believe your right Mr.Kolin. I will do a complete reinstall and then hope that X-Plane and FSX:SE work with the DVACARS. Good thing is that FSX is on Steam and if I have any issues with X-Plane it will be too!!! Thanks for taking the time to respond, if you can think of any other reasons please let me know. banghead
