Please be informed Luke as added a new feature when pilots request a check ride in a program. This is related to DVA attempting to find suitable freeware aircraft in all sims for each program. In some cases, we're likely to issue check rides in specific aircraft that may not be the main program aircraft. For example, there is no (good) freeware DC-6 for X-plane. However, there are two very good freeware DC-3s for XP10 and XP11.

When requesting a check ride, the pilot now has the option of indicating what sim they are using. This will help the program staff know what aircraft to select when issuing a check ride. So, in the same example as above, the DC-6 staff can issue a DC-3 for the check ride instead of a DC-6 for an XP11 check ride.

Sound confusing? All pilots need to know is that when they request a check ride, they can now indicate what sim the plan on using for the check ride.

We hope you all like this new feature and hopefully it will help us further our growth and opportunities in all programs.
