I'm no longer able to use ACARS to track flights. I'm receiving the following3 message when trying to start a flight with ACARS:

"X-Plane 11 requires v1.4.17 of the ACARS X-Plane plugin or newer. You are using v1.4.12."

Nothing has changed with my installations, and I had no problems flying using ACARS last week. I can't figure out where to download a newer ACARS plugin.

I've already uninstalled and re-installed ACARS with a fresh download to see if this would resolve the issue. It did not help.

Thoughts?

When you run the ACARS installer, are you selecting the X-Plane plugin to install? It may not see your XP install path.

Hi Luke, Yes, I'm selecting X-plane 11 when it prompts me to. I've also doubled checked the install path in the %appdata% folder referenced in another thread for troubleshooting.

If you delete the plugin from the Resources\Plugins folder under XP, then run the installer again, is it recreated?

Gremlins.... That worked! Thanks Luke!

Getting weird messages such as:

[22:41:26] RequestRecv for datarsp completed in 179.8ms
[22:42:22] Timed out waiting for Gate data

Haven't gotten those before.
But....all appears to be working.

You also cannot have xplane running when you install acars or it won't let you over-write the xplane plugin.
