	I am not really sure how describe my problem but I'll try. What is happening is that some sounds are coming through speakers or headphones and some are not. I can hear the airplane noises, tow truck coming up to aircraft but not the voice of the tow truck guy when I am supposed to let off the brakes etc.. This is not all the time. I check my Vol. Mixer and I see main device speakers then application (System, P3dV4, Steam client bootstrapper and Couatl Scripting Engine for fsx/esp) I have P3Dv4 running now but it's the some with FSX Steam I some what understand that there are different divers or controllers in Device Manager I am showing AMD High Def Audio and Realtek Audio under Sound, video and game And C24F390 (AMD Definition Audio Device) which one of my monitors because it actually a TV and Speakers under Audio inputs and outputs. My problem maybe because sometimes I switch from USB Headphones back to regular speakers and that's when I notice it the most. I have had to left click on the speaker and change application so I know about that but what bugs me is that I figure out why I can't always hear GSX. I know this makes no sense but I have to put it out there and try. Like I said, it's not all the time but enough to annoying. 	You should be able to assign general sounds to the speakers and voice sounds to the headphones in the FSX:SE settings menu. I believe it's the same for P3d.

	Thank you Yisrael I have looked at that and I think one time that it worked. I know that sometimes I have forgotten to turn on the voice ATC because I am using VoxATC to practice with. I can always reboot and everything works fine for awhile. It mostly happens when I start with USB Headphones and unplug and us speakers. I don't know but it works more than not so I'll deal with it. I just updated all drivers so maybe that will help. I just like hearing GSX when I have to release brakes and the passengers boarding.

	When you unplug your headphones it probably causes the setting to reset. Going back and changing it each time should fix it.
