I have the Lonny Payne panel in my B757's and because my sim boots with the most recent flight it tries to start and is crashing before getting to a point where I can switch airplanes. Any suggestions on how to start the sim without loading a saved flight? My last flight was in that 757 and I forgot to change my aircraft before saving my flight.

According to this thread: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?262475-How-to-Change-the-Default-Starting-Aircraft-and-Airport
You can start FSX from any saved flight by dbl-clicking the .flt file for that saved flight.

That should at least get you into FSX so you can make the changes necessary.

I remember from the past that configuring a non-standard FSX aircraft on startup is a no-no. It can prevent you from getting into FSX when there are errors. I ran into that with PMDG.
