Just thought I'd share a positive support/customer service story since you usually only hear the bad.

I purchased a Logitech Radio Panel a few months back for use with X-Plane. It developed an issue where two digits had an led segment that would cut in and out. Still usable but at $150 I want a properly functioning device. It was the lower right where I normally have my transponder code. I contacted support and they had me try a few things, didn't work but I sent them pictures of the issue, serial, receipt, etc. They immediately issued an RMA for replacement. They stated to hold onto my defective unit until the replacement arrives. In about 10 days I had my replacement and it works perfectly.

I contact support back to let them know I received the replacement and where to send the bad one back to. They said to keep it or recycle it! Now I have 2 radio panels for my virtual cockpit! The "bad" panel can still be put to use since it's only 2 led segments that are out. I really didn't expect them to tell me to keep the other device but I will.

That's a good customer service story and I'm glad you had a positive experience. It's not uncommon for vendors to tell the customer "just keep it" when shipping charges come into play but it's usually with much more inexpensive items. I'm as surprised as you that they told you to keep a $150 item.
