I'm posting this as a sticky to keep everyone posted on the Fleet Installers until I have a reasonably complete fleet available.

8/29/2003 Update: I've released the B777, Concorde and ERJ-135/145. I suspect the ERJ has a bug in the NC textures, but the Air France and NNC versions appear to work just great.

8/31/2003 Update: There's a backlog of aircraft waiting to be tested before release; I've got two turboprops, the 757, 767 and 737 - the workhorses of the fleet. The ATR-72 has been released.

9/1/2003 Update: The 767 installer is ready, but I am unsure if I will release it. I have one or two last tweaks to perform on the 764, and I'm testing the Modern UI functionality of NSIS to see if I can spruce up the UI of the installers.

9/2/2003 Update: I'm in the process of adding the NSIS Modern UI to the intallers, to give them a better look. Check this out:

9/6/2003 Update: We have updated

COMPLETE AND AVAILABLE
CRJ-200
MD-88/90
B727-200
B777-200/300
ERJ-135/145
Concorde
ATR-72

IN TEST
EMB-120
B737-200/300/400/800
B767-200/300/400
B757-200

BEING ASSEMBLED
DC-8-11/51/61/71

RESOURCES IDENTIFIED
MD-11
L-1011
B707-100/300

THINKING WHAT TO INCLUDE
DC-9
B747-100/400

I would caution everyone that the order of this list past the first two stages should not indicate the relative priority or likelihood of completion. Something like the EMB-120 or DC-8 may vault up the list quickly since there's a single source and less likelihood of competing resources. The ATR may be the same way.

Cheers!

Luke

Just FYI -- certain of the fleet aircraft may not be compatible with FS9/2004. I installed the MD-90 last night and got an error message when I attempted my first test flight with it. I presume it is a conflict with FSDS-crafted models, as the GMAX models (such as the MD-88) have not given me the same error.

Just a heads up for all you FS9 users out there!

The installers were not run in FS2K4 to see if they were compatible. So, I am not sure if any will work in it.

Well, the INSTALLERS work (the MD-88 is absolutely gorgeous) but several of the planes themselves don't -- like I said before, it's a function of earlier-generation FS2002 planes not being compatible with FS9.

I picked up an absolutely gorgeous FFX GMAX 727 in Delta colors off of AVSIM today, so I'm balancing that against not being able to fly the MD-90... ;-)

Absolutely. All I can say regarding FS2004 is "your mileage may vary". Once the baby arrives next month I will probably head on down to Walmart to get FS2K4, and by then we'll hopefully have more aircraft and panels to choose from. Life on the bleeding edge can be a bit of a challenge. smile

Cheers!
