I had to reinstall FSX-Steam the other day and now ACARS is not working. I downloaded the 3.4 version and the download went smooth. But when I tried to use it, it didn't work. There are no error messages; it just doesn't do anything when I load a flight into it. I'm not sure what version of ACARS I had earlier, but it worked fine then. I appreciate any help.

When you load a flight, are you loading a flight plan? Is it showing the airport and route data?

I have saved flight plans that I download from Flightaware. I normally click on the open flight plan to access the files, which is in my download files, and click on the file. When it worked, the data would load in the flight information boxes in ACARS, but now nothing happens after I click on the file.

ACARS appears to load the flight plan just fine over here.

I don't know why it won't on mine. I've never had this problem before. Nothing seems to be any different. Now, I've had problems upgrading to a newer version of ACARS in the past, but I got errors messages then. In those cases, I simply went back to the earlier version. In this case I don't know. Thanks!

Just to be clear, are you loading the plan from ACARS, or Windows explorer?
