Anyone else have the new honeycomb throttle or yoke?

I'm having issues with P3Dv4 and the PMDG profiles. The flap lever and throttles do nothing. The honeycomb configurator is set up for the PMDG 737 but there are no assignments for those levers. The configurator is really hard to understand and I can't find any documents on how to use it or input my own configurations. Or maybe I'm just not as savvy as I used to be. Any help is appreciated.

I've been very unimpressed with the documentation and examples for the configuration utility, but it is usable. I've gotten it working with the CS 757 and 767 with FSUIPC, and the annunciators are easier because CS uses LVARs with the config utility can naturally use. I was hoping that someone had an example for the PMDG birds that I could extend - I've been waiting a few weeks hoping someone would do so. Have you checked the PMDG forums?

Worst case, I'll need to write one. It will probably be down the road of using LUA scripts for the button assignments and mapping the PMDG-specific offsets into LVARs since I don't think the configurator can read FSUIPC offsets directly. Or maybe it can, but the documentation doesn't mention it! mad

Cheers!

I have Alpha and Bravo but I'm using X-Plane. I did find a document online that helped me get started with the configurator and I have some profiles I've done for Zibo 737 and FF 757/767. Not sure how helpful it is for P3D but you're welcome to it. Here's a link to the file in my google drive.

You can also find user created profiles to download on the Aerosoft site: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/category/126-honeycomb-profiles/

I tried the second link but it doesn't appear to have any user-created profiles in it, just the software. Am I missing something?

Cheers!

Look to the right on that page under Subcategories. There are 2 links for Alpha and Bravo. Or use the links below for each page.

Bravo: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/category/128-bravo-throttle-quadrant/

I could see just having a sub- category for the Alpha & Bravo, I have had mine now for about 4 months, using them for X-plane and MSFS2020 and just when I think I have them figured out, another plane comes along and I spend good quality flying time trying to make them behave the way I want them too!

I finally gave up trying to get them to work in P3Dv5 with the PMDG, and replaced it with some Lua scripts. Going to do the same with with P3Dv4 and just use FSUIPC for evrything.

Cheers!

I think I have just found my favorite App to help with my Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo controls. https://axisandohs.weebly.com/
I just watched a youtube vid - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=787Uf6bmZ5Q&t=1s
Ordered it from simmarket and cost my appx $20. When you down load it there is a specific app for FSX-SE, P3D each ver, and MSFS2020. It will allow you to do complex without having to know programming.
