Was searching out flights to complete the Carolina Club and noticed that Greenville, SC (GSP) has a flight scheduled from Munich, Germany in a Boeing 717-200. (DL131 Leg 3). Just wanted to put it out there to see if anyone wanted to fix. If not, it would be interesting to see that PIREP! wink
Thanks,
Kevin

The schedules are full of such errors Kevin. I've no idea how those schedules are made up but I don't pay attention to it anymore. I mostly check FR24 for the right aircraft as far as I already don't know it myself.

If you take a look at the flight info it says DL131 LEG 3, which means that flight NUMBERS had two previous legs. US3 usually tend to do this as a commercial way to keep flight numbers for a certain route even though that same flight number is not operated on by the same metal.

Leg 1 of the flight was MUC-ATL, on a 764:

DL131 Leg 1 B767-400ER Munich Germany (MUC) to Atlanta GA (ATL) 11:00 CET 15:51 ET 10:51 0 4,790 mi

DL131 Leg 2 should then be ATL-GSP on a 717 (not leg 3). But the whole commercial purpose of this was to sell GSP-MUC under the same flight number. It's probably the case that when the schedule was loaded, the system mixed up the legs at O/Ds since these routes are usually filed three times in a reservations system:

DL131 MUC-ATL
DL131 ATL-GSP
DL131 MUC-GSP - that's why you are seeing it as leg 3.

LOL. I strongly encourage it. Make sure a KC10 follows you around tho.

Cheers!

That entry should never have been imported. That's a multi-leg flight.

Cheers!

This has been resolved with Golgotha 10 but I will need to reimport the raw Delta schedule. As part of this I am going to switch the effective dates now that DST is in effect.
