How can I prevent the flights to be late or too early? Do I have to match the departure time with the sim time? or is there a way to delete the times, so I am not limited to fly the leg only on those hours?

Hi Salvatore,

Yes. If you arrive a minute after the arrival time set, you'll be considered late.

If you want, you can generate a flight assignment from the find a flight option. Then you can load it up on ACARS (via Flight -> Load Draft Flight Reports) and when you start the flight, ACARS will ask you if you want to change the time on your sim so that you match the actual departure time of your flight (ACARS will load 15min prior to your departure time).

Hope this helps!
Cheers!

Oh ok, so all the flights follow a schedule then? And another question. If I want to fly any route that is not registered as a flight assignment, but I fly it with a Delta callsign. Would that count towards the type promotion?

The early, on time and late designations on the flight reports are for your reference. The flights can be flown at any time you wish regardless of the schedule.

A flight assignment is not required. Make sure the flight you wish to fly is active on the day you are flying it.

You can fly whatever equipment you wish no matter what is scheduled as long as you possess the rating and it can make the range safely with proper reserves.

The call sign is your choice. We prefer you use Delta or one of the code shares, but not mandatory.
