	Are there plans on taking the VA to discord in the future? I just wonder what the interest would be to have a live place to communicate and connect.

	Jason, As far as I know there won’t be any plans for a Delta VA discord at all. For one it is too hard to moderate as anyone can join and it will be too difficult to moderate the channels there. I’m a member of discord and flight simulation servers there and vatsim ones and they have a difficult time moderating the channels in their server.

	I know that Discord will never happen at Deltava, but those channels are what people nowadays are looking for instead of forums…….in a world where everything evolves, here we are stuck at things that I will never understand. And please don’t bring up the moderator part as an excuse…..you make some rules, if people doesn’t obey them, they are going to be banned…..plain and simple!

Vincenzo, I understand many people are looking for discord nowadays, I get that. With how long DVA has been running, 20 years, there must be something right that is going on. We may not understand how or why things are the way they are here, but DVA’s model and plan and vision have proven itself to be doing something right for all these years. I have seen many virtual airlines where they only stay open for a few years and then close their doors due to something missing? That’s what has kept myself active for 5 years I’ve been here. Is because DVA feels like a great community with many great people here that we all share a common interest of flight simulation. There is another water cooler topic which I will enclose the link below which also discusses the discord question. As mentioned before it would be difficult to moderate the channels there.
